David Bryant Piano

About Us

In November of 2000, David accepted the staff musician position with First Church of the Nazarene in Augusta, GA.  Having now accepted a call to lead worship, David served Augusta First Church until November 2015, 15 years after he first accepted a position with the church.  David served as the Worship Leader for Eastside Church of the Nazarene in Gastonia, NC from January 2016 to February 2020, and previously served for a short time with Stony Point Tabernacle in Stony Point, NC (December 2015). He also serves Celebrate Recovery in Aiken, SC as a worship leader.

David has performed in a variety of concerts, weddings, funerals, and private gatherings.  In August 2015 he partnered with Stony Point (NC) Tabernacle Church for a series of outdoor services for their community.  He has served as Song Evangelist for Revival Services at Red Branch Baptist Church (Carthage, NC March and October 2014), Clover (SC) Church of the Nazarene (June 2012 and June 2013), Forest City (NC) Church of the Nazarene (February 2013), and the Northern Moore County Faith and Family Celebration (September 2012).  He has also served in this capacity for Warner Robins (GA) First Church of the Nazarene (2011) and has performed Christmas Concert Tours (2008 - 2013, 2015).  He's also assisted with leading worship at Georgia District Men's Retreat (2010, 2016) and SoloCon (2004 & 2005), which are ministries of the Church of the Nazarene.  David also studied classical piano privately and at Augusta University (GA), and was involved in many music related organizations.  David served as the President of the "True Blue" Jaguar Pep Band (2000 - 2005), and was a member of the school's Orchestra, Choir, and Opera Workshop Programs.  His musical tastes include a variety of styles, to include Classical Music, Opera, Barbershop Quartets, Southern Gospel, Classic Rock, Contemporary Christian, and Praise & Worship.  David has had a successful career in retail and management, and is a manager for Chick-fil-A in Columbia, SC. His goals include working full-time in ministry.

Laura is a great spouse to David and is loving, supporting, and a vital part of this ministry.  She has previously served as the Youth Minister at Augusta First Church and worked with the teens and young adults, and has accepted a call from God to minister to our younger generations.  Laura also helps with worship during special events; she helped with leading worship during the Clover (SC) Church of the Nazarene Concert.  During Revival Services in Warner Robins, she assisted with singing in the Praise & Worship Group, organizing music, and helping select appropriate music for worship.  She also plays clarinet and has played with numerous other band musicians from the United States in world tours.  Laura's earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Owens State Community College in Toledo, Ohio, and currently works as a Registered Nurse for a long term care facility in Blackville, SC. She is also currently in school pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Her goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Kayla and Teresa are the Bryant’s daughters. In December 2012, Laura and David took in these now adult children, along with their mother, and have built a great relationship with them. Corinna (Teresa and Kayla's mother) passed on from this life in January 2018 from complications with Multiple Sclerosis and Epilepsy. The girls continue to have a great relationship with us and have given us our titles as parents, and Laura and I continue to be honored.

Teresa works in the restaurant industry and lives in Cayce, SC, while Kayla is a full-time student at Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, SC. Kayla also helps David with ministry by singing and works with him at Chick-fil-A during the holiday and summer seasons away from school. Kayla majors in English Education and her goal is to become a High School English Instructor.
